After reading the assigment and the many outcome for the game i have decided to list all the programing needs for the game.

1. Backrounds: The will be 2 backrounds 1. for the main menu and 2. for the actual game play
2. Sprite costumes:The original game of doodle jump with the main character being doodle does not change costume .  I will at some point change the costume of the main character ,, as i do not wish to be marked down.
3. the game will contain scoring
4.To control the character the player must use the keyboard . The instruction will outline the keys
5. There will be sound when ever the character jumps/bounces
6. the colour outline will be simple and straight forward.

Starting my Doodle Jump game version ,, i have decided to use platform instead of a backround . After research via youtube and webpage i have found that using platforms allows the main character in this chase an alian named doodle to jump and move more effective and freely ,, with the motion being much smooth and the response quicker. The down fall to this though is that the main character " doodle ' will have alot of script and i fear that it might overlap when controling the game.

After 2 weeks of trying to create a simple but effective version on space invaders i have decided to try and create a popular game " Doddle Jump".

Problems with space invaders :

The control of the space ship are easy to move , but getting the bullut to fire and then command the alien to die and take score is the hard.
The complex control and script that was needed to create a simple game was to hard when trying.

After completing the scratch task all 8 of them i have gained enough knowledge to try and create a game.

I have decided to try and make space invaders.
The game will have 3 levels or challenges ( easy , medium and hard)
Shooting the aliens will gain point and the the highest score of each game will be placed on a ranking sheet.
There will be 2 backrounds 1. for the menu bar and 2. for the actual game.

I believe creating space invaders wil be a challenge

Scratch- FLOW CHART

1. For each of the flowcharts below describe in words what you think they will do.A) 

A)      The flowchart above describes how temperature is shown. Once the termometer is turned on, you read the temp and if the temp is below 32 degrees Celsius it will print "Below Freezing" if it is not below 32 degrees celcius it will print "Above Freezing" and then it will end.

B) 

B)       The flowchart above describes what the responses are when a light is switched on. Once you press start, if the switch is on then the LED will turn on, however if the switch is not on it will keep asking whether the switch is on. Once it is on, the LED will turn on and the timer would start. If one second hasn't expired the timer will keep asking if it's started, however when it starts the LED will turn off and the timer will reset. The process will be ended here.

This task allows the controller playing the game to be involved more , by allowing the character to say something. In this case the character is saying " Lauren is Awesome" . The easy controls make it easy to move. The commands include " when ----- Space key pressed, say_____ something.

Scratch--- whirl

With this task i learned how to use 3 simple tools. Those tools were, the start flag, forever if and the looks- set on whirl.

This task demonstrated how to whirl a character.
The start flag allows the controller to start the game.
The forever if tools allows the whirl settings to continue if a certain key is pressed.

Then with the aid of class discussions, write an algorithm for the following processes;

1.       opening a door and entering a room.

turn around 180' , walk straight 2 steps , put hand out, hold the door, turn the knob clockwise, push the door.

2.       Negotiating traffic lights as you drive down a street.

In your algorithm write each step of the process on a new line. Remember not to assume the computer knows anything.

Problems

There has been many problems when using WIX. Using WIX takes a long time to load to load and expecially when more than half the class is using it as well. The slow internet connection was a problem throughout the whole assessment. Trying to get videos and sounds for the ebook was hard to load and cause many problems. Also when using WIX it frozen many times and many times i was unable to save my progress therefore my information that i was working on was gone.

WIX 3

Overall, using wix to create my website was definately a success for me, because the site was not only easy to use, but also made a page that was aesthetically pleasing. The amount of choices of layout made on my webpage, made it more interesting because every page had a different setting, creating a change and diversity between every page.

Another issue that nearly every user of Wix had to face was to wait for a long period of time for the page to load, which confused me because when i tried the other websites toc create my webpage it didn't lag or i didn't had to wait for a long time for it to load/save. So, waiting was an issue i faced.
Overall i found wix pretty enjoyable and fun to use. In the beggining i found it difficult to use, however now that i am aware of how to use it and how it works it is much simpler and easier to use. It is also helpful for me as i would love to use this webpage in the future if i need to make a presentation for something because now i'm sure how to use it and don't find it difficult.
If i had the opportunity to re-do my webpage, i would have used my time wisely spending the same amout of time and effort in every page, instead of putting soooo much effort into the first few pages and then rushing through the last pages in order to meet the deadline of the due date.
I feel very proud of the work i have done through Wix, and i am planning to use this knowledge in the future, to maybe present in class to replace powerpoints. I also learnt new techniques and information about the whole world of multimedia, including the different types of multimedia., some stuff that i didn't know of before and also about the future of multimedia. How nothing is staying the same, over time technology is becoming more compact and is having more storage place. Can't wait for what's soon to come out!

At the moment i am researching about secoundary storage ( ports).  As well as that i am also trying to collect videos and choosing the music on my presentation. The slow internet has been a huge problem while usin both wix and yotube.

My wix assignment has been going great, i have done my research for 3 of my topics:
- social networking- ports- handheld devices- Bluetooth.

I only have the research to do for bluetooth then all my research would be completed

At the moment i am working on making my website pretty and filled with attractive items, most of my pges are going well as i have also found some youtube videos to add to my information. I have added many animations and am enjoying this assignment as wix is fun to use.
we have all received an extension till tuesday.

I beleive i have used my time wisely as i am not stressed about this assignment, however i'm going through this assignment calmly.
I am now going to go and add more stuff to my wix website, and go through the checklist miss has made for us incase i havn't done something. This will let me know if i have completed my assignment fully and use my extension days to add anything extra to my page which i have missed.

THe reason why is because ipad is already small and most of it functions and applications allow for you to have a smalller scree.
