New Terms relating to audio files

You should be able to define the following terms on your blog.
Stereo- Sound that is directed through two or more speakers so that it seems to surround the listener and to come from more than one source; stereophonic sound
Channel- Direct toward a particular end or object: "advertisers channel money into radio".  
Track- The soundtrack of a film or video
Frequency- The rate at which something occurs or is repeated over a particular period of time or in a given sample
Hertz- A unit of measurement of frequency
Decibel- A unit used to measure the intensity of a sound or the power level of an electrical signal by comparing it with a given level on a logarithmic scale

Wav- WAVE or WAV, short for Waveform Audio File Format, (rarely also named Audio for Windows) is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on PCs
Mp3- A streamed audio file using this MPEG layer

 aiff- Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF) is an audio file format standard used for storing sound data for personal computers and other electronic audio devices
