Animation- Earth Part 1 of the proccess of the animation

This is how much of my animation i have done so far. I have decided that i would zoom on the earth and then i would zoom it into australian and then to a street where i would colour everything orange.

In this video there is 13 earth pictures to create a 3 secound video. This took my about 3 minutes to do. I think i am becoming faster at making the animation. i cant wait to see the completed animation.

This animation took alot of work to actually start because i had to create the world and then edit the page layout and then export it. At one point of the animation i check to see how it was going and realized i didnt select page when exporting so i had to start again.

One of the things that i want to improve on this animation is that i want to be able to spin the earth while zooming in. I believe that if i could do that it would create a bigger effect and it would enable me to do less slide when exporting the image

Inkscape- Cartoon Characters

I guess i have to find something that is not that hard to trace and edit.

Today i continued my research on what to do for my animation. I am still unsure on what to do, but i have been looking up orange cartoon characters. I found garfield and the evil orange character. I decided to try and trace a picture of garfield on inkscape and then edit the curves, but i had alot of trouble with doing the curves they just wouldnt come up that neat and they looked rushed and ugly.

Today i have started my animation, i have started the process of making and creating my earth and adding the effects and the exporting of the object.

Inkscape alal

Today i started my animation and the planning process. i have decided to work on the idea that i have gathered. i have decided to do an animation on and about garfield. garfield represent the colour orange (clare) and i believe will work well with my animation i deas. I have started to create a garfield character myself. i am in the process of doing his head and the  shoulders.

Planning for the assessement

Today we got given out the assignment. I have alot of thoughs and i am a bit nervous and terrified about starting. I have a few plans on what to do for the assignment, but i am very unsure about what to do or choose.

1) penguin - Although a penguin is not orange or in anyway represent clare i believe that i can change the colour of the penguin and make a short animation with the penguin waving and holding a orange banner saying GO CLARE!

2) An ipod that has a recording of a person or some kind of symbol representing clare (orange)

At the moment those are the only ideas i can think of. I am sure that i can upload more ideas as i progress in the assessement but at the moment i think i need to work and expand my idea basses and learn a bit more about inkscape and practice how to export bipmat images.

bouncing ball

Today i created my frist animation,, with the help on Mr Lennons instructions.

I learnt how to export the bitmap image and then save it as a .PNG file so that is would be conpatable for movie maker. over all the bouncing ball animations took 15 .PNG picture files to create a 3 secound animation.

Once i had all the pictures to create the animation i had to transfer them on to movie maker and create a movie out of all the pictures by ordering the pictures and adjusting the slide time.

Although the ball animation was not hard and only took around 15 minutes to make i am worried that when it comes time to create my animation for my assiment it will take a long time to create considering that the ball animation took 15 for only 3 secounds of an animation

although the bouncing ball animation lags a bit, i am soo excited.

Ipod

Today i on inkscape i created a classic ipod. although the creation was not very time consuming it was very challenging at some points.
