Image file that may contain up to 256 indexed colors; color palette may be a predefined set of colors or may be adapted to the colors in the image; lossless format, meaning the clearness of the image is not compromised with GIF compression.

GIFs are common format for Web graphics, especially small images and images that contain text, such as navigation buttons.

GIF images can also be animated and saved as "animated GIFs," which are often used to display basic animations on websites. They may also include transparent pixels, which allow them to blend with different color backgrounds.

I saved my images in a PNG format instead of saving it as a GIF image. Saving the frames as a PNG file made it easier

Describe the creation process you followed.

I first started out with 2 main ideas (Garfield and something to do with the earth changing colour). After doing some research about both and testing out both, I decided to go with the world changing colour to orange, standing for Clare. After about 2 lessons I started my animation.  This process took about 2 weeks to complete with about 120 frames with 3 main setting throughout the animation.  The animation goes for around about 25 secounds with effects and music.  The animation starts of as a earth zooming in and then a pen drawing/ creating a boy, a tree , sun and clouds. The the pen suddenly changes colour to orange , so  the pen now colours all the objects on the frame orange. The end the movie the earth zooms in and the pen colours the world in orange, with the next 30 frames writing out " everything looks better in orange". "everything looks better in orange" is my theme for the animation.

Describe what software you used and why you chose it.

I used inkscape to create my animation. I choose to do my animation on inkscape because I was confident in using the software and I understood the program, compared with Gimp which is a program that I have not used before when creating animations or editing pictures. I believe inkscape is easy to use if you know what you are doing. Once i had my idea for my animation it was easy to create my animation.

A graphic designer is someone that combines words and images to get information across to an audience. A graphic design is anything that has/is using pictures that may or may not have been printed.

Websites, cards, business marketing, designs for books, posters, advertisements, signs

You would need to have some background in using paint or drawing programs and you would need to be able to know who to use them properly.

Graphic tablet: A graphic tablet is a computer device that allows you to draw images onto the computer. Most animation is drawing on a graphic tablet.

I have just finished my animation frames, i have over 100 frames, and by my calculations the animation will go for around about 24 secounde- 25 sceounds. I have changed my animation plan for the thrid time. I have decided to still use the zooming of the world ,, but i am scratching the leaf and parts of the tree and now i am having a plan world then colouring the world and park orange .

Problem

I Have many ideas that I want to do for the animation but i am having trouble combinding the. At the moment i have over 30 slides; the animation starts with the world growing bigger and then it changes to a short slide of a tree and then a leaf falling of the tree. I dont know how to make the animation about clare.
