Describe what software you used and why you chose it.

I used inkscape to create my animation. I choose to do my animation on inkscape because I was confident in using the software and I understood the program, compared with Gimp which is a program that I have not used before when creating animations or editing pictures. I believe inkscape is easy to use if you know what you are doing. Once i had my idea for my animation it was easy to create my animation.

A graphic designer is someone that combines words and images to get information across to an audience. A graphic design is anything that has/is using pictures that may or may not have been printed.

Websites, cards, business marketing, designs for books, posters, advertisements, signs

You would need to have some background in using paint or drawing programs and you would need to be able to know who to use them properly.

Graphic tablet: A graphic tablet is a computer device that allows you to draw images onto the computer. Most animation is drawing on a graphic tablet.

I have just finished my animation frames, i have over 100 frames, and by my calculations the animation will go for around about 24 secounde- 25 sceounds. I have changed my animation plan for the thrid time. I have decided to still use the zooming of the world ,, but i am scratching the leaf and parts of the tree and now i am having a plan world then colouring the world and park orange .

Problem

I Have many ideas that I want to do for the animation but i am having trouble combinding the. At the moment i have over 30 slides; the animation starts with the world growing bigger and then it changes to a short slide of a tree and then a leaf falling of the tree. I dont know how to make the animation about clare.

Inkscape- earth edit

On my last post on Blogger i posted, my animation on the zooming earth i have decided to change the backround of the animation. Instead of having the animation with a transperreent backround to a black backround.

Animation- Earth Part 1 of the proccess of the animation

This is how much of my animation i have done so far. I have decided that i would zoom on the earth and then i would zoom it into australian and then to a street where i would colour everything orange.

In this video there is 13 earth pictures to create a 3 secound video. This took my about 3 minutes to do. I think i am becoming faster at making the animation. i cant wait to see the completed animation.

This animation took alot of work to actually start because i had to create the world and then edit the page layout and then export it. At one point of the animation i check to see how it was going and realized i didnt select page when exporting so i had to start again.

One of the things that i want to improve on this animation is that i want to be able to spin the earth while zooming in. I believe that if i could do that it would create a bigger effect and it would enable me to do less slide when exporting the image

Inkscape- Cartoon Characters

I guess i have to find something that is not that hard to trace and edit.

Today i continued my research on what to do for my animation. I am still unsure on what to do, but i have been looking up orange cartoon characters. I found garfield and the evil orange character. I decided to try and trace a picture of garfield on inkscape and then edit the curves, but i had alot of trouble with doing the curves they just wouldnt come up that neat and they looked rushed and ugly.
